Eduardo
Acebo, a former monk at the Ramakrishna monastery in Trabuco
Canyon, California, has returned to the monastery as a lay worker
and is devoting full time and energy to translating Vedanta
literature into Spanish. His translations are being edited by
professional translators in Spain. Vedanta West Communications
is happy to back this dedicated work and to contribute toward
the spread of Vedantic idealism in the Spanish-speaking world.
The pilot project is the translation of Pravrajika Vrajaprana's
"Vedanta: A Simple Introduction," by permission of Vedanta Press,
Hollywood. Other translations are of Swami Nikhilananda's Holy
Mother (by permission of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Center, New
York), Christopher Isherwood's Ramakrishna and His Disciples,
and How to Know God: The Yoga Aphorisms of Patanjali, (Prabhavananda/Isherwood).
Vedanta West Communications is accepting tax exempt donations
toward this valuable work. You will receive a formal letter
of acknowledgement for your donation.
